I have a MASSIVE Soft spot for the Super Powers collection - if I had to get rid of all but one line of my collection, I would keep the Super Powers that I loved most as a kid. As an adult, I came to appreciate how good the figures were, particularly for the time period. Decent scale, deliberately designed with the mechanics for the "power action" internally to maintain the lines of the figure, and excellent sculpts reminiscent of the more defining designs of the characters up to that point.
Plus, the best Batmobile toy ever designed. EVER.
Smooth lines, excellent features, and VERY sturdy - I still have my original one and I think there's a tab broken on one of the windshields.
And, of course, probably the most desired vehicle of the entire line, the Batcopter:
I never had one, as it was a much later release and pretty rare. A little out of my price range right now, but always hoping to trip over one at a garage sale or something.
And, as of August 2016, I'm now tracking SUPER POWERS CYBORG!
This bad boy was part of the 3rd series Super Powers set, and is probably the most rare (and definitely most expensive) of the line. It has more parts, (3 arm attachments) than most of the other figures and is VERY hard to find. And talk about PRICEY. Details below the Superman and Batman sections.
