Welcome - Overview - How I Look at the Data

Welcome to the Vintage Toy Price Tracker!  I'm hoping to make this a regular update on tons of the more popular vintage toys with a focus on the 1970s and 1980s.

I primarily derive data from ebay's "completed sale" advanced search, and average out the prices on items that have sold from both auctions and Buy It Now sales.  I don't put in the data for unsold items, as unsold item prices can be all over the place and do not give a sense of the true value.

Prices are also sale price + shipping.  It is the total a customer paid for the item, so the entire price paid is the market value.

Unless I find out otherwise, I don't include the final results of a best offer that was accepted because it isn't posted.

In general, I use loose, loose complete, and Mint In Package categories.  Loose can be a simple figure or a figure with a few accessories, but not complete.

I will also give my general impressions as to what outside factors may be causing rise and fall on pricing.

Price trends begin with available free data, which, for right now, is October 2015.

If there is a toy you would like me to research, please send me an email to boogdoc7@gmail.com and I will see what I can pull off or leave a comment below.  I charge $50/item researched, which comes with at least 90 days of data, and I discount for multiple items.
